Our UK and Ireland Insurance businesses are part of The Travelers Companies, Inc.

In the UK, Travelers offers a wide range of insurance products and risk management services, primarily through brokers, to business customers through the Travelers Insurance Company, as well as specialised covers through Travelers Syndicate Management, writing through Syndicate 5000 at Lloyd’s. Our principal offices are in Redhill and London.

In Ireland, our Dublin office provides property and liability cover and risk management services for businesses. through a strategic partnership with brokers countrywide.

What does the Travelers group consist of?

Travelers is headquartered in the US, where it is the third largest writer of commercial US property-casualty insurance. It also has operations in Canada, the UK and Ireland. Established in Ireland since 1995, Travelers provides insurance to businesses, institutions and the public sector as well as private car insurance to individuals. Travelers products are distributed primarily through their panel of brokers.

In the UK there are three distinct businesses:

  • Travelers Insurance Company Ltd
  • Travelers Syndicate (5000) Management Ltd, which trades at Lloyd’s
  • Travelers Underwriting Agency, which handles specialist marine liability covers

Created in Minnesota, US, in 1853, Travelers has been an industry leader from the start. Our office is located at Block 1, Harcourt Centre, Harcourt Street, Dublin 2.

In Ireland the company provides a wide range of property and casualty insurance products that are primarily sold by brokers to a range of industries, including the public sector, manufacturing, technology and professions.
